Wait... It's a School Night?

We rolled into London last Sunday, and after a quick registration at tour at the LSE, we checked out our humble abode, the Edward VII rooms at Northumberland, right off of Trafalgar Square. We ditched our bags and between walking around our new home, through Trafalgar Square, down the flag lined National Mall, and about 10 minutes later we found ourselves in awe with Buckingham Palace towering over us. The place is so grand and ornate, with the gold statues and incredible stone detail, and I can't wait to get a look at the inside sometime later this month. From there we circled back thought St. James park, a great area with wide open green fields, hungry squirrels, and a nice Slovakian food cart worker, and wound up back at Northumberland. The area is truly amazing, right in the heart of London, and I can't wait to see all the other landmarks it has to offer!

Later that night, we prepared to go to the Northumberland Icebreaker party at See Saw Student Union, which was a fun time of dancing, (legal) drinking (hi mom!), and meeting new people. We met a couple girls, one from Australia the other a native Londoner (who may have Playboy connections??) and a couple more from either Kentucky or Turkey (it was loud in there). I think this program is gonna be pretty great!
